Telecare Support Officer

BS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Telecare Support Officer in a temp position for our client In Derby.
The successful candidate should be a proactive and hardworking individual with prior experience within a role.
Telecare Support Officer Job Role:
•The post holder will provide Telecare equipment installation and maintenance for the Telecare Service provided by Derby Carelink,
•Duties will include visits to residents and Telecare service users,
•To advise, install, programme, test and maintain a range of Telecare equipment, which also includes the removal of equipment that is no longer required and the provision of advice around Telecare equipment to potential referrers.
•Work a rotational shift pattern on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays 365 days of the year and be required to work an alternative shift patterns as and when the needs of the business require, this may be at short notice
•To contribute to the effective running of the service area through attendance at meetings and training events as required including attendance on non-designated working days.
•Undertake the installation, programming, testing and maintenance of a wide range of complex assistive technology equipment.
•The installation to include the safe use of power hand power tools and other tools as appropriate (so applicant must have the ability to correctly use an electric drill) and the use of a variety of IT devices for effective programming of equipment.
•All installations to be carried out to a high standard to ensure the correct functioning of the equipment, and to avoid risk to the customer and their visitors.
•Must have a current driving license and access to a roadworthy vehicle for work purposes at all times Must have business use insurance for the vehicle.
•Must have an enhanced Adults DBS Applicants will be required to work the attached rota which includes evenings and weekends
